Happy Holidays!

Merry Christmas! 2024 was a challenging year for so many that we continue to pray for. Our biggest challenge this year is Summer was diagnosed with POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardic Syndrome). It is a frustrating set of symptoms with an unknown cause resulting in deregulation of heart rate and blood pressure. It is not something that can shorten your lifespan, but it can limit your quality of life. However, there are medications and some hope that it can resolve.

To keep it interesting Kodi, the smaller dog, had to have an endoscopy to remove plastic he had been collecting over several months (unknown to us). The ER staff found him to be a very cute and unusual case.

Work was off to a great start but with the back-to-back derecho and hurricane, it slowed during what’s typically our busiest time of year. The sluggish market continued until just before the elections and has since picked up so we’re squeezing in a lot of last minute deals!!!

A bright spot was David’s 50th birthday and his dream trip this summer where he captained a 54’x30’ catamaran in the BVIs with family. The trip was full of fun, and some surprises, best told over cocktails. He once again was Vice Chairman for Parade at Rodeo Houston where Parker and Henry were able to be on a float this year. He also has picked up auctioneering for a couple of local charities – highly entertaining! He plans on filling in for Santa at a couple of events this year, too.

Summer took on being Go Red for Women Chair for the local American Heart Association event and continues to care for Willie who is happy at 25.
We have been able to enjoy small trips this year including ‘Deda Camp’ to Canyon Lake for boating and ziplining. We also got to see Parker’s first homecoming – mum and all!

We are so glad that we have another year together as a couple and in business – no easy feat! Seriously, thank you to all that share our name and trust us to help you, or your referrals, find a home. It is a gift that we so appreciate! We wish you a cozy holiday with your loved ones and an amazing 2025.
